The Board of Court Reporting requires completion of 10 approved continuing education credit hours by December 31 each year. Within 30 days after completing a CE class (or by December 31 whichever is earlier), you must submit a Request for Credit through your Georgia Courts Registrar account, at https://gcr.onegovcloud.com/ in order for your hours to be entered into your CE record. This applies to pre-approved CE courses and non-pre-approved CE courses. A complete Request for Credit includes the following:
- Class information requested in an online form under the “Events” tab in your account;
- CRTC-2 Course Evaluation form;
- Verification of Attendance issued by CE provider; and
- Copy of course schedule or agenda.

Every newly certified court reporter must complete the Learning Essentials About Professionalism (LEAP) training authorized by the Board of Court Reporting. The LEAP seminar equips court reporters with the knowledge and skills necessary for high levels of ability and professional competency. Seminar topics include governance, training requirements, emerging trends and technological advances related to improving the court profession, just to name a few.
